Skoda has displayed 8 models from its global and Indian portfolio at the ongoing auto expo
The Skoda Elroq EV has been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Czech carmaker has been quite generous with its demonstration of the latest products including the likes of the Octavia vRS, new Kodiaq, new Superb, Vision 7S and more. India is Skoda’s biggest market outside Europe. Hence, it wants to create a positive image in our market. To achieve that, it is bringing the best it has to offer globally. The Elroq EV is a prime example of that. Let us take a look at the details here.
Skoda Elroq EV Revealed at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025
Note that the Skoda Elroq EV is already on sale in Europe. It embodies the latest design philosophy of the Czech car marque. At the front, it gets sleek LED DRLs with a unique gloss black panel between them. Also, the main LED headlamp cluster is located on the extreme edges of the bumper. Down below, we witness a rugged skid plate section which is finished in silver colour. In fact, it even boasts the creases on the bonnet. I must admit the entire front section looks aggressive. On the sides, one gets to witness a continuous crease from the front fender to the taillamps. In addition, the alloy wheels look sporty and the chrome frame around the windows accentuates the premium vibe. There are faux roof rails and noticeable wheel arches. At the rear, the Elroq has a roof-mounted spoiler, split-LED taillamps and a sporty bumper to complete the appearance.
Skoda Elroq EV – Interior and Features
On the inside, the cabin possesses the latest tech and convenience amenities to pamper the occupants. This includes a two-spoke steering wheel with control, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment display, a textured dashboard, an electric parking brake, ambient lighting, a head-up display, a premium audio system, an electric driver’s seat with massage, wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, keyless entry, travel assist plus, heated steering wheel and front seats, and much more.
Specs
In the international markets, it comes with two battery pack options – 55 kWh and 82 kWh. These are good for 373 km and 579 km of range on a single charge (WLTP), respectively. The power and torque outputs are 170 PS / 310 Nm and 286 PS / 545 Nm, respectively. This allows an acceleration time for 0 to 97 km/h of just 8.7 seconds and 6.4 seconds, respectively. Using a 175 kW DC fast charger, the bigger battery can be juiced up to 80% in just 28 minutes. It would be interesting to see if Skoda decides to bring it to our shores as the Hyundai Creta Electric rival.
