The Indian auto giant has finally taken the wraps off the much-anticipated electric SUV at the auto expo
The Tata Sierra EV has finally been launched for the Indian market at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Note that Sierra EV was showcased multiple times at the previous auto expo events as well. Hence, we had an idea of how it would look like. In fact, we have been following the electric SUV from its concept stage when Tata Motors first displayed it a couple of years ago. The aim of the Sierra EV is to capitalize on the legacy this nameplate holds. The competition in the segment it belongs to has gone up significantly in recent times.
Tata Sierra EV Launched at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025
The Tata Sierra EV boasts a modern exterior styling with a sleek LED light bar running across the width of the fascia. It culminates neatly into the LED DRLs on either side. As is the case with the latest Tata products, the main headlamp cluster is situated on the extreme edges of the bumper. Being an EV, there is no radiator grille but the front section does contain some contoured black elements. On the sides, the massive wheel arches finished in black claddings and elegant alloy wheels elevate the road presence. Also, the boxy tail end with black side pillars lend it a modern look. At the rear, there is a slim LED light bar capturing the entire width of the tailgate with Sierra lettering underneath in thin alphabets. The lower section contains a rugged bumper with a skid plate and an upright bootlid.

My View
The details about the battery and performance were not announced at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 today. Apart from that, the Indian auto giant even showcased the Harrier EV and Avinya concept EV. Clearly, we will get to know the exact details at a later stage. Still, it is clear that Tata Motors has ambitious plans for the future.
