The much-awaited electric sports car has finally arrived in India and will cater to the high end of the market
The MG Cyberster electric sports car has finally been launched for our market at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. MG has been incredibly serious about EVs. It already sells the Windsor EV, Comet EV and ZS EV in India. Note that the Windsor EV, with its industry-first BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) model, has been doing exceptionally well on the sales charts ever since its launch. It has already sold over 10,000 units in just 3 months of launch. Clearly, people have taken a liking to the product. Aiming to expand its portfolio, MG has entered the premium EV market too. Let us glance at the details of the EV here.

We already knew what it would look like since it has already been on sale in many international markets across the globe for a while now. On the outside, the EV certainly looks stunning. It comes with an aerodynamically optimized front fascia with an appropriate bumper and a compact splitter, flowing creases on the bonnet, a sharp nose and contours on the bonnet. On the sides, there are colossal 20-inch alloy wheels and creaseless door panels. However, the most attractive element has to be the scissor doors. The two-seater EV has an LED light bar connecting the LED taillamps, LED turn indicators with arrow signatures, and an attractive rear bumper with aero optimization at the tail section.

Specs
Despite the gorgeous exterior styling, the main focus lies on what powers this sensuous electric sports car. It draws power from a 77 kWh battery pack which powers two electric motors. This enables an all-wheel-drive configuration to ensure maximum performance. The total output is 536 hp and 726 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively, which allows an acceleration time to go from 0 to 100 km/h of just 3.2 seconds. That is seriously quick. It remains to be seen how well the customers embrace it.
