Aftermarket car modification houses have become insanely skilful in India in the last few years and this a prime example of that
I came across India’s only bagged Maruti Brezza recently. Brezza is one of the most successful compact SUVs in the country. It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV3XO. This is a tough market segment with intense competition. Still, the Brezza has been able to hold its own. Talking about car customizations, many vehicle owners take their vehicles to these shops where professionals can transform the entire identity of an automobile. For now, let us take a look at the details here.
India’s Only Bagged Maruti Brezza
The specifics of this case stem from AutoSyndikate on YouTube. The host has this unique bagged Maruti Brezza with him. He explains the mods on it in detail. At the front, this compact SUV gets a customized hood with black paint, a new broad grille with a honeycomb pattern, auxiliary LED lighting with a new bumper which almost touches the ground. On the sides, there are sturdy skirtings on the door panels, elegant 17-inch aftermarket alloys, and body graphics. At the rear, it gets a new and colossal roof-mounted spoiler, C-pillar-mounted LED taillamps, a new exhaust pipe and an extremely sporty bumper with a diffuser. Not just that, to add another 550-litre storage space, it gets a luggage box on the roof.
Interestingly, the customizations are not just limited to the exterior but even affect the interior. Firstly, the SUV gets new custom leather seats, and A-pillar-mounted displays for RPM, battery and temperature. The dashboard houses car toys, while other bits include an aftermarket Android touchscreen, front and back dashcam with 4K recording, air suspension buttons, 4 JBL speakers with individual amplifiers, damped doors and more. Finally, the engine of this bagged Maruti Brezza has been remapped for enhanced performance. The host takes it out for a spin and experiences the exhilarating driving dynamics. There is even a funny horn which plays some elaborate tunes.
My View
Now I have seen many modifications on many cars. However, this has to be the most comprehensive for a car which is driven on the roads relatively frequently. I must mention here that most exterior car modifications are illegal in India. Therefore, you must consult your local RTO prior to going for any such mods. If you don’t abide by the regulations, you will face issues with the traffic Police. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases going forward.
