The deliveries of the Mahindra BE 6e will commence by the end of February or beginning of March
In this post, we are discussing the road presence of the Mahindra BE 6e alongside Tata Curvv EV. Both these are new-age electric SUVs from two Indian automobile giants. The Curvv EV was launched a few months ago. It was the second coupe SUV for the masses at the time after the Citroen Basalt. Interestingly, it is available in petrol, diesel and electric avatars to cater to a wide range of customers. On the other hand, the BE 6e belongs to the latest breed of EVs from Mahindra. Note that it uses the bespoke INGLO platform which will spawn other EVs for global markets. Let us compare the road presence of the two.
Mahindra BE 6e Spied Alongside Tata Curvv EV
This post comes from bunnypunia. It captures the two electric coupe SUVs side by side which is quite rare since the BE 6e is not on sale yet. Nevertheless, this is a great opportunity to compare the street presence of the two. I must admit, looking at it from the front makes it seem like the BE 6e is much wider than the Curvv EV. Looking at the official dimensions of the two, this is actually the case. Additionally, the wheelbase of the BE 6e is much longer than the Curvv EV. All other aspects are relatively similar. Apart from that, both ooze that modern vibe. Just for reference, these are the dimensions of the two coupe SUVs:

Specs Comparison
The Mahindra BE 6e comes with two battery packs – 59 kWh and 79 kWh. These are good for 535 km and 682 km (550 km on WLTP) of range, respectively. The electric motor produces decent power and torque figures of 228 hp / 380 Nm and 281 hp / 380 Nm, respectively. Using a 175 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be juiced up from 20% to 80% in less than 20 minutes. The top trim boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of a brisk 6.7 seconds. There are three driving modes – Range, Everyday and Race with an additional Boost mode which enables 10 seconds of max torque. It has a ground clearance of 207 mm. Also, the total storage capacity is 455 litres at the back and 45 litres at the front.
On the other hand, even the Tata Curvv EV is on sale with two battery pack options – 45 kWh and 55 kWh. This results in decent range figures of 502 km and 585 km, respectively.
