The all-new 2015 Audi TT India launch takes place at an event in NCR
The new Audi TT India launch has just taken place at an official event in NCR and with this, the new TT has become the first of the many new products Audi India plans to launch over the next few months. For India, the TT will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) from Audi’s Gyor facility in Hungary. The new TT Coupe is the third generation of Audi’s famous sports car and the latest model is based on the much publicized Volkswagen MQB platform (that the TT shares with the Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Passat and Audi A3). Thanks to the introduction of the MQB platform, the new TT is up to 50 kilograms lighter than the outgoing model. You can find more details on the new-gen Audi TT in this post here-
Price
The new Audi TT has been launched at a very competitive price of INR 60.34 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi)

What’s New?
Firstly, like we said above, the new Volkswagen MQB platform has resulted into decent weight savings on the TT. Internationally, the sportscar is available in two petrol and one diesel variant. In India, however, the car has gone on sale only in a petrol variant. The India-spec car is powered by 2.0-liter TFSI motor that produces 230 BHP of maximum power and 370 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed S-Tronic DSG and the car boasts of Quattro AWD system.
The 2015 Audi TT measures 4180mm in length, width will be at 1,832mm (down by 8mm), while the height is the same at 1,353mm. Boot space is increased by 13 liters to stand at 305 liters. The 2015 Audi TT gets refreshed interiors. An Nvidia Tegra 30 GPU powers the 12.3-inch fully digital instrumentation cluster, while AC vents are inspired by jet turbine engines. Bang & Olufsen 12 speakers, 14 channel amplifier and 2 door mounted woofers ensure rich sounds in its interiors while a new multifunction flat steering wheel also draws instant appeal.
