Maruti Dzire has been all the buzz in our market since the last few days after the launch as it is the highest-selling sedan in the country
In this post, we shall take a look at the details of the comparison between the Maruti Dzire ZXi and Dzire ZXi+. Note that the latter is the top-of-the-line variant, while the ZXi is second from the top. Generally, people consider the second top trim to be the most value for money. These variants mostly offer all the basic and some convenience amenities to take care of just about every need of the buyer. However, those who want all the functionalities a car has to offer go for the absolute top model. Let us take a look at the specifics of this case here.

Maruti Dzire ZXi vs Dzire ZXi+ – Design Comparison
This latest video from TakuliAuto Talks captures the two models parked right next to each other. Overall, there are only a couple of differences between the two. The top ZXi+ trim possesses LED fog lamps which are missing in the ZXi. However, both these get similar LED headlamps and a broad front grille with a matte black finish. Also, the piano black panel between the headlights are similar. The second key change in the front fascia is the availability of a 360-degree camera in the ZXi+ trim, which is not on offer in the ZXi trim.
Moving down the sides reveals two different sets of alloy wheels. Both these are 15-inch wheels but the ones on the top model are precision cut dual-tone, while that on the lower model are painted black. Apart from that, the entire side profile remains the same. Finally, at the rear, both these boast a shark fin antenna, a chrome strip between the LED taillamps and a sporty bumper. Hence, one will only be able to tell the two apart with these basic changes at the front and sides.

My View
It is often a hot debate whether to go for the second-from-top model which people consider the best value for money, or simply splurge on the top trim to get all that a car has to offer. Hence, it could be a personal choice. Still, in this case, the ZXi+ variant certainly offers a lot of extra amenities for a reasonable premium which is great. In any case, you can settle for the ZXi as well and save some valuable money despite getting the most features.
