We have seen this with the XUV700 and Scorpio N. With this limited Black Edition, the Indian auto giant aims to cater to a wider range of audience. Let us check out the details of this torture test.
Mahindra XUV700 Black Edition in Torture Test
The specifics of this event stem from CarSauce on YouTube. The hosts commence their journey at 5:30 AM. They mention that they want to put the Mahindra XUV700 Black Edition to the test by driving for over 1,100 km for close to 14 hours. That is a long journey for any car and enough to highlight any issues a car might face. While a huge chunk of this journey was on smooth highway roads, there was a portion containing rugged muddy track with gravel. In fact, the hosts lost the phone signal there and had no clue where to go. Thankfully, they found a way out to reach the main road after a while. Finally, they made it back to the starting position of this trip at 7 PM.
They were happy to report that the tyres of the SUV performed exceptionally well and took on every section of the road convincingly. Apart from that, the seat comfort was excellent and they didn’t feel any stiffness in the back or legs. The lumbar support is mighty helpful in such situations. Also, the ADAS functions came in extremely handy to assist the driver on those boring highway runs. Finally, they were immensely impressed by the Sony 3D Surround Sound System. All in all, this trip, which was designed to put the Mahindra XUV700 Black Edition through a torture test, ended up highlighting its prowess.

Performing transmission duties is a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
