On the sides, viewers are greeted by stylish 15-inch alloy wheels and a chrome belt running under the window frame. Finally, the tail section contains a shark fin antenna, and a chrome strip on a black glass panel connecting the tri-arrow-shaped LED taillamps, while the bumper is new as well. Overall, the compact sedan has come a long way in breaking away from the Swift influence.

Just like the exterior styling, the engine in the new 4th-gen Maruti Dzire is new. This time around, it gets a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild hybrid technology which produces a decent 82 PS and 112 Nm of peak power and torque. One can choose between either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The CNG mill will generate a familiar 70 PS and 102 Nm. In the petrol trim, the mileage figures are an impressive 24.8 km/l with the manual and 25.75 km/l with the AMT. On the other hand, with the CNG option, this number rises to 33.73 km/kg. These numbers will pull a lot of customers.
