All these vehicles are considered icons in terms of off-roading prowess which makes this battle even more intriguing
This off road battle between the Mahindra Thar, Thar Roxx, Force Gurkha and Toyota Fortuner Legender is mighty interesting. One has to admit that all these are the best off-roading vehicles on sale in our market. In fact, the Thar, Gurkha and Fortuner monikers are considered the benchmark in this category, while the Thar Roxx is the latest addition to this list. The off-roading community has been increasing in India for the last few years. As a result, carmakers are introducing new models to cater to this burgeoning space. For now, let us compare the performances of these vehicles here.
Thar v Thar Roxx v Gurkha v Fortuner Legender Off Road Battle
The specifics of this instance stem from Varun Vashisht on YouTube. The vlogger is at an off-roading location with many SUV owners. In fact, they have all sorts of off-roaders including the aforementioned ones. The fact that this is not a man-made track makes it even more challenging and puts each of these SUVs through their paces. Apart from some minor obstacles, the most treacherous was the uphill challenge on a slippery slope due to a lot of mud. That is where these SUVs were tested to their cores. In the first attempt, a 3-door Mahindra Thar was able to climb to the top despite massive aftermarket alloys.
However, every SUV thereafter struggled as the surface became more and more challenging. The Thar Roxx and Gurkha drivers were not able to reach the top even after multiple attempts. There was just not enough traction. However, the final vehicle was the Toyota Fortuner Legender. It was able to conquer this round despite the odds of having to go last on a surface which only deteriorated over time. That is a testament to its off-tarmac capabilities. In any case, we shouldn’t jump to any conclusions based on a single event. It must be said that all these are immensely capable off-roading machines which cater to all sorts of adventure seekers.
