Both sedan and hatchback versions of the Honda City have been updated for the Brazilian market
The 2025 Honda City facelift has been revealed for the Brazilian market. It bears cosmetic changes along with the addition of some new amenities. This makes the already compelling sedan and hatchback even better. However, the mechanical and powertrain options remain the same. Note that while the City has been revealed, the official launch will take place on November 9, 2024. Let us check out all the details about the 2025 model.
2025 Honda City Facelift Revealed
On the outside, the Honda City carries its design language albeit with a few minor altercations to the fascia. This includes new horizontal elements on the grille making the chrome section a bit narrower than the outgoing model. Apart from that, it gets a new front bumper which houses the fog lamps and lends a sporty appearance. It continues to carry that slim LED headlamp cluster and busy profile in the lower half. On the sides, the sedan and hatchback get a new set of alloy wheels ranging from 15 inches to 16 inches including a dual-tone colour option. Similarly, the tail section is slightly tweaked with a new bumper and reflector lights. The length is now up by 25 mm. All in all, there are enough minor upgrades to tell it apart from the outgoing trim.

On the inside, there is the addition of a few new functionalities to pamper the consumers. The main highlights include Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Brake Hold function, all-4 disc brakes, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two type-A USB charging ports at the front, two type-C USB ports at the rear, updated touchscreen infotainment system with new graphics, improved resolution, new interface, three unique wallpapers, LaneWatch for blind spot monitoring, 4.2-inch TFT or 7-inch colour TFT instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, myHonda Connect connectivity suite, 6 standard airbags, Honda Sensing ADAS with Low Speed Follow (LSF), Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistant, Frontal Collision Mitigation and Automatic High Beam Switching and more.
Specs and Price
The only thing which remains the same is what lies under the hood. Even the 2025 Honda City facelift draws power from a familiar 1.5-litre flex-fuel naturally aspirated engine which generates 126 hp / 155 Nm for ethanol and 126 hp / 152 Nm of peak power and torque for the gasoline version. Performing the transmission duties is a CVT automatic gearbox for smooth operation. The prices range from R$ 117,500 (~ Rs 17 lakh) to R$142,400 (~ Rs 20.70 lakh).
