MG Hector belongs to one of the most competitive spaces in our market which is why special edition models are being launched to make it more exciting
In this latest video, we get to experience the MG Hector Snowstorm Edition in the flesh. Hector is a mid-size SUV which rivals the likes of the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Carens in our market. Offered in a 5-seat configuration (6/7-seat layout with Hector Plus), Hector is known for offering the latest tech and connectivity features. That has always been its strength. For now, let us take a look at the details of this new special edition model.
MG Hector Snowstorm Detailed
The specifics of this case stem from Detective Moto on YouTube. The vlogger mentions that there are mostly aesthetic upgrades to the MG Hector Snowstorm Edition in comparison to the regular trim. At the front, it gets gloss black fog lamp housings along with dark chrome elements. The side section contains black side pillars and a roof in addition to the chrome embellishments on the door handles. There are also black alloy wheels with red brake callipers. I really like the sturdy roof rails and the rear profile with that connected LED taillamp with a chrome belt running underneath it. Finally, there is a sporty bumper with a rugged skid plate completing the adventurous appearance of the vehicle.
Most elements on the inside are unchanged. However, that is not a bad thing since Hector is one of the most feature-laden SUVs in its segment. There is use of soft-touch materials and the dashboard layout is modern. Apart from that, you will notice plenty of storage spaces inside the cabin. The top highlights on the Hector include:
- Segment-first Colossal 14-inch Portrait-styled Touchscreen Infotainment Display
- Level 2 ADAS for Active Safety Functions
- Over 100 Voice Commands
- Ambient Lighting
- i-Smart Connected Car Tech with over 75 Features
- Digital Bluetooth Key
- Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof
- Front Ventilated Seats
- Leather Materials for the Cabin
- Fully Digital Instrument Cluster
- Electrically Adjustable Front Seats
- Automatic Powered Tailgate
- Wireless Charger
- Air Purifier
- OTA (Over-the-air) Updates
- Premium Audio System by Infinity
