At the front, the base trim of the MG Hector gets LED DRLs, projector headlamps, chrome grille, striking fog lamp housing and a sporty bumper. Apart from that, the side profile showcases 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, body-coloured door handles, turn indicators on ORVMs, roof rails, side body cladding, etc. Finally, the rear section contains LED taillamps connected via a chrome belt and gloss black panel, a roof-mounted spoiler, reflector lights on the bumper and a rugged skid plate. All in all, even this base model carries an imposing road presence.
