Nissan has taken the wraps off the new 2024 Nissan Magnite compact SUV which aims to carry on the popularity that the pre-facelift model started
The 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift has finally been launched in India. I have been reporting about its spy shots for a long time now. The compact SUV belongs to one of the most competitive spaces in our market. Vehicles from just about every other carmaker are present in this segment. With the new model, there are a few aesthetic enhancements along with the addition of some new features and a tweaked interior layout. However, the powertrains remain the same. During the launch ceremony, Nissan announced it will launch 3 new cars in India by 2026 in addition to the Magnite and X-Trail. Additionally, it will sell this made-in-India car to over 65 nations across the globe. Let us delve deep into the details of the new Magnite facelift.

Design
In terms of the styling, not much has changed in comparison to the pre-facelift model. Still, there are enough tweaks all around to tell it apart from the old model. For instance, the front fascia bears a sleek and sharp projector bi-functional LED headlamp cluster with prominent LED DLRs on the extreme edges of the bumper with fog lamps. In the middle, we get to witness a large grille with chunky chrome inserts on the sides. Furthermore, the bumper looks sporty with a rugged skid plate section. On the sides, there are new alloy wheels and rugged wheel arches. At the rear, we get new clear-lens M-shaped signature LED taillamps which almost bulge out of the body of the SUV. The Magnite is written across the bootlid and the silver skid plate elevates the adventurous traits of the SUV. There are 13 colours in total including 8 monotone and 5 dual-tone. All in all, it still is reminiscent of the old model but has enough new elements as well. It will be interesting to see how well the customers respond to it.
