2024 TVS Jupiter 110 vs Jupiter 125 – Spec
The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is the latest entrant into our market. It comes with a new-gen 113.3-cc lightweight single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) technology which produces a decent 5.9 kW (7.9 PS) @6,500 RPM of power and 9.8 Nm @5,000 RPM of torque (with iGO assist) or 9.2 Nm @5,000 RPM of torque (without iGO assist). The scooter gets an automatic transmission. Due to the iGO assist, the mileage is almost 10% higher than the outgoing model. The Start-Stop functionality and ISG ensure great performance while overtaking or on steep inclines.
Apart from that, the video showcases the 12-inch alloy wheel design as well. Both tyres are 90/90 section. At the front, the Jupiter 110 gets a telescopic suspension along with Body Balance Technology 2.0 allowing a forward, lower and more central mass position. While the drum brakes are standard, the higher trims get a 220 mm petal disc at the front. The choice of colours includes Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Lunar White Gloss, and Meteor Red Gloss. It has a kerb weight of 106 kg.
On the other hand, the TVS Jupiter 125 naturally bears a larger engine. In fact, that is the major point of distinction between the two. It gets a 124.8-cc single-cylinder air-cooled BS6.2-compliant engine which produces a slightly higher 8.2 PS @6,500 RPM and 10.5 Nm @4,500 RPM. This engine pairs with an automatic transmission. Even it gets 12-inch alloy wheels with 90/90 section tyres at both ends. However, there is a slight difference in terms of the design in comparison to the Jupiter 110.
Taking care of the suspension duties, there is a telescopic fork at the front and a three-step adjustable gas-charged coil spring at the rear. This is a standard layout in scooters at this price point. In the lower trims, the Jupiter 125 gets 130 mm drum brakes at both ends. However, with higher variants, there is the option of getting a 220 mm disc at the front. The fuel tank capacity is 5.1 litre in both scooters. The kerb weight is 108 kg. Finally, the colour options include Pristine White, Indiblue, Dawn Orange, Titanium Grey, Elegant Red and Matte Copper Bronze.
