The Yamaha FZ series of bikes, the Yamaha FZ-S, Yamaha Fazer and Yamaha FZ16 have received another set of new paint options to keep the bikes in the fray till the all new variant of the bike is launched later in 2014 or in 2015. The changes made to the bike are purely cosmetic and this is of course disappointing news as the company has turned to this gimmick several times before, the last of which was the special edition variants of the FZ-S and Fazer in August 2013. The good news is that we can at least look forward to a new bike, which could be more than just a cosmetic update later.

What’s New?
As we mentioned before these changes made to these bikes are purely cosmetic and thus the technical specifications of these bikes remain the same. All the bikes here are powered by the same 152-cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke air-cooled engine delivering 13 BHP @ 7500 rpm. You get a front disc and rear drum brake combo in all of them, along with 17-inch wheels shod with 100-mm section front and 140-mm section tyres at the rear. Overall length of the bikes remains the same at 2075-mm while the wheelbase is also the same at 1334-mm. Their weights are different though, the FZ16 and FZ-S weigh 135 Kg, and the Fazer weighs 141 Kg.
