Chevrolet‘s flagship sedan in India, the Chevrolet Cruze was given a mild refresh recently in the form of a revised front end for 2016. The changes are merely skin deep as the Cruze continues with the same powertrain, which is still the most powerful in its class. We think this is just a stopgap measure until the next-gen Chevy Cruze lands on our shore next year. The Cruze facelift was also showcased at the Auto Expo recently along with the Beat Activ and Essentia. GM has now gone ahead and slashed the prices of the Cruze by around 70-80,00. However, it remains to be seen if the facelift manages to boost sales of the slow-selling Cruze and even if its does, it will still not be able to achieve the kind of numbers the Cruze managed to clock a few years back.
