This has to be the first all-new Maruti Swift in India with a full chrome wrap. Wrapping cars in unique shades is one of the easiest ways to distinguish your vehicle from the crowd. People often head to the aftermarket car modification houses to get this done. Swift is one of the most successful vehicles in the country ever. Hence, you see it on the road regularly. Even the new fourth-gen model has started to become common. That is where such creative wraps come into the picture.
Maruti Swift with Full Chrome Wrap
This post arrives from autobrumindia on Instagram. It captures the visuals of this one-of-a-kind Maruti Swift. Someone has gone all out to wrap the hatchback in chrome completely. I have to be honest I have never seen a Swift in this guise ever. One has to really be a chrome-lover to apply it on the entire body of his/her car. Generally, we see chrome inserts on some components of cars to enhance the bling. But wrapping a vehicle in chrome is taking things too far in my opinion. In any case, if the owner likes it, that’s all that matters.
The new Maruti Swift comes with a brand-new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates a decent 82 PS and 112 Nm of peak power and torque. There are options of choosing between either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic gearbox. This new mill delivers an impressive 25.75 kmpl mileage in the AMT version and 24.8 kmpl mileage in the manual variant. That is what entices the customers the most. The prices range from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.64 lakh, ex-showroom.

Our View
Wrapping the car in a different colour than original is not permitted as per the vehicle laws. However, there is a way around this regulation. One has to take permission from the RTO and intimate them about the colour change. Once they approve, the car owner needs to bring the vehicle with the wrap to the RTO. Here, photos of the new colour are clicked and a new registration certificate is issued with appropriate details. Therefore, I suggest our readers perform this procedure so that they don’t get in any kind of trouble with the authorities later on.
