I have reported countless incidents where people have come up with rather bizarre ideas to transform their automobiles. In most cases, people perform such acts to create viral content. They just want more followers and engagement with their posts. On other occasions, car owners want their vehicles to look unique which is why they customize them so heavily. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest case.
Man Installs Sunroof in Auto Rickshaw
This post comes from rhino.customs110 on Instagram. The visuals capture a unique auto rickshaw with a sunroof. In fact, it is not just meant to enhance the aesthetics. The owner showcases that this is a functional setup. In this video, we see the glass opening up like on any normal car. Once the camera zooms out, the auto-rickshaw is revealed to the viewers. Naturally, the post contains hilarious comments from the netizens. Almost all of them are making fun of this ‘jugaad’. Nevertheless, it has garnered tons of views online, which might have been the sole intention of this post, to begin with.
What is quite interesting is the fact that this auto rickshaw has Tata seats. That is because the auto is from Tata Motors. But to have such huge logos of Tata on the seats is quite unusual. Some of the top comments on this post are – “Bhai piche ka ac ki speed kam karo thand lag rahi hai [Bro, turn down the AC, I am feeling cold]”, “Meanwhile people who drove cars they purchased for 5-7 lakhs without sunroof”, “It’s already a Cabriolet. which is more fancy than a sunroof.” Most other comments were full of laughing emojis. It is definitely a treat for social media users.

I quite enjoy looking at such ‘desi jugaads’ on a daily basis. It is a foregone conclusion that Indians are extremely talented in every walk of life. People have this tenacity and vision to come up with creative and low-budget solutions for their day-to-day issues. While I wouldn’t like to comment on the road legality of it all, I certainly understand that people perform such acts just for fun. Still, I won’t recommend this to any of our readers.
