An aftermarket car modification house has created a black-coloured 2024 Maruti Swift. Swift is currently on sale in its fourth-generation avatar in India. Note that the iconic hatchback doesn’t come with black paint from the factory. That makes this particular iteration even more special and unique. In the latest version, Maruti Suzuki is offering fresh aesthetics, a brand new frugal engine, and tons of modern amenities including safety features. Hence, it might again have a winner on its hands. For now, let us take a look at the details of this Swift.
Black-Coloured 2024 Maruti Swift
This video comes from Tarun Vlogs3445 on YouTube. The YouTuber showcases this unique Swift. The original colour of this Swift was white. As a result, to cover the entire body of this hatchback with black PPF (Paint Protection Film), the vehicle had to be dismantled. Every part was removed to ensure OEM-level fit and finish. Also, it took longer time than usual since the edges had to be tucked-in. For that, they needed to be completely dry. Apart from that, this car modification house claims that they use top-quality PPF. These films have self-healing properties. Hence, minor scratches won’t affect the original paint of the vehicle.
The car shop owner tells the viewers that generally a PPF could easily last for 3 years. However, if the owners take care of the PPF, it could even last longer. The trick is to keep the surface clean and away from direct sunlight as much as possible. In addition to this glossy black film, this Swift even gets ginormous alloy wheels. They elevate the sporty stance of the legendary hatchback even further. The owner has chosen to keep the original logos of Maruti Suzuki at the front and rear. That makes it look like a regular colour from the OEM. In all honesty, this black-coloured 2024 Maruti Swift certainly looks attractive and unique.
Our View
We keep witnessing car owners heading to aftermarket car shops to get their vehicles customized. However, I must mention here that most car modifications are illegal in our country. Hence, we must take these aspects seriously. I would advise our readers to consult their local RTO first to get clarification on which customizations are allowed. Generally, if you opt for wraps and colour changes, there is a procedure which could legalize this practice so that you don’t get into trouble with the authorities later on. Hence, I urge you to tread this path carefully.
