Digital artists have a knack for imagining creative iterations of popular cars and this Hyundai Verna with a sporty widebody kit is a prime example of it. Verna is one of the most successful mid-size sedans in our market. It has been around since 2006. In its latest avatar, it boasts the most powerful engine in the segment, a 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP, the latest tech, connectivity and convenience amenities and striking bold looks. That is what makes it so popular even today. If you want more, this virtual rendition is what you should be looking at.
Hyundai Verna with Widebody Kit
This video clip stems from ZephyrDesignz on YouTube. It captures this attractive version of the new Verna. While the overall silhouette and design cues remain almost identical to the regular model, there are certain specific customizations which change the very demeanour and character of this sedan. In fact, the designer is calling this the GYM Edition. Looking at the muscles on this thing, I can’t disagree. At the front, the grille is now much broader and wider. In fact, it merges neatly into the aerodynamic intakes on the extreme edges of the bumper to form a single colossal unit. Apart from that, it even gets a front splitter to protect the underbelly from tiny pebbles on the roads.
The full-width LED strip remains intact. However, the side profile takes things to the next level. This version of the Verna gets chunky wheel arches which extend well out of the body. They accentuate the widebody appearance of this sedan. In fact, there is an air intake channel behind the front fender, something we see on supercars. The alloy wheels are black and sporty. At the rear, the full-width connected LED taillamp looks striking and the sporty bumper and fender elevate the overall outlook of the Hyundai Verna. All in all, this has to be among the most enticing illustrations of the sedan (with a widebody kit) I have come across in recent times.
Our View
I must admit that tastefully done virtual concepts of regular cars excite me a lot. They are great to break the monotony of watching the same car every day. I appreciate these digital artists who break free from the physical limitations and demonstrate the extent of their imagination by recreating such unique special edition models of our beloved cars. I am sure we will keep coming across numerous such concepts in times to come.
