This video comes from Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel features content around the performances of cars during unfortunate scenarios, as well as road safety. This time around, the video features multiple accidents of Mahindra cars. To start with, an XUV700 owner from Banaras, Uttar Pradesh shares a tragic incident. He mentions that the SUV was parked outside his home for 2 days. Suddenly, it caught fire for no reason at all. He confirms that since this was the top-end model, there were no aftermarket modifications. In fact, the SUV has been driven for 15,000 km. The video showcases him trying to douse the fire using water and fire extinguisher. But the SUV was reduced to ashes.
Allegedly, the dealership staff has not been cooperative. They are trying to shrug off the matter and get the owner to claim insurance instead. But once the video and post from Prateek Singh went viral, Mahindra officials contacted the owner and assured him of cooperation. There are other accidents shown in this video where Mahindra SUVs are involved in terrible situations. Many of them claim that the tyre of the SUV came off while driving. Well, we can’t confirm or deny any allegations until thorough investigations are conducted. Also, since we don’t know the full picture, we would refrain from commenting.

These accidents have been reported online. Hence, no one really knows the accurate picture. Of course, when customers spend their hard-earned money on cars, the dealerships must ensure that they support the car owners during difficult times. Doing so eases the entire process for everyone. But some dealers don’t want to get involved in these matters and leave the car owners high and dry. That is where issues crop up. We can only hope that Mahindra officials resolve these issues as soon as possible and investigations bring out the truth.
