Maruti Jimny Dual-Cab Pickup Truck
This rendering stems from Motospot bw on Facebook. The designer has tried hard to keep the essence of Jimny alive but added a practical cargo bed at the rear. At the front, this Jimny has round headlamps, a sturdy bumper with fog lamps, an upright and boxy bonnet and an eminent grille with chrome vertical slates. On the sides, one gets to witness the flaring wheel arches, side steps to ease ingress and egress characteristics, two doors (hence the dual-cab layout) and an extended rear section to accommodate the cargo bed. At the rear, there are modest taillamps and Suzuki lettering on the boot door. All in all, this Jimny dual-cabin pickup truck certainly looks believable.
Specs
Maruti Jimny possesses a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine which generates a decent 103 hp and 134 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine pairs with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Being a true off-roader, it comes with Suzuki’s trademark ALLGRIP PRO 4×4 system to tackle any obstacles in the terrain. A high ground clearance of 210 mm helps to drive over most undulations on the surface. The approach, breakover, and departure angles are 36°, 24°, and 50°, respectively. Maruti Jimny retails between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.95 lakh, ex-showroom.

Author’s Note
Digital automobile artists have a knack for creating something truly unique. It helps us refresh our perception about a particular vehicle and break the monotony. The best part about the virtual realm is that it is free from physical limitations. Hence, the designers can let their imagination run wild. This results in such products which we might have never thought about. Needless to mention, we don’t expect something like this to go into production.
