Harley Davidson Street range of models recalled
It has emerged that Harley-Davidson Motor Company has just issued a recall for its Street 750 entry-level model. The latest recall covers models that were manufactured between January 20, 2014 and June 24, 2015 in the U.S. and from February 24, 2014 to July 15, 2015 in India. This recall will see the replacement of a faulty fuel pump module. The fuel pumps of the affected bike feature a sub-standard seal at the fuel inlet, which has high chances of failure and hence, could cause inappropriate fuel supply to the engine. Harley Davidson has said that it will fix this issue free of charge for all the bikes that are being covered in this recall drive. This recall also affects the Street 500 models manufactured in the aforementioned period.

The Harley Davidson Street 750 retails for roughly INR 4.27 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Specifications
The Harley Davidson Street 750 is powered by a 749cc V-Twin liquid cooled engine that comes mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. It is a liquid cooled unit but the company claims that sounds like a conventional air cooled motor. The bike rides on a 17-inch wheel up front and a 15-inch unit at the rear. The wheels are shod with a 100 mm-section tyre at front and a 150 mm-section tyre at the rear. The wheels are shod with a It features a single-caliper disc brake at the rear as well as front. The fuel tank has a range of 13.1-litres and the bike tips the scales at 218 kgs.
