Honda Sells Over 6 Elevate SUVs Every Hour
Honda has been able to deliver 30,365 Elevate SUVs to their owners since its launch. This averages out to be just over 6 units per hour. That is quite impressive for an SUV which has such fierce and impressive rivals. Note that the Elevate is Honda’s first proper SUV in our market. Hence, it needed to possess the desired road presence. Also, the powertrain from the City has been tried and tested for a long time now. The same goes for the transmission options. All these factors played into the hands of Honda. For reference, Honda sold 3,184 units of the Elevate in February 2024. Hence, the monthly sales are still high.
The compact SUV consistently outsells Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, and MG Astor but trails behind Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara in popularity. Recently, it made its debut in Japan, marking its commercial launch.

Author’s Note
Honda Elevate is a prominent mass-market product for the Japanese car marque. Prior to that, there were only two mass-market cars – City and Amaze. That is the reason why it intended to enter the highly competitive, but rapidly growing mid-size SUV segment. That has reaped massive benefits for the company. Going forward, it will be interesting to see how well people keep buying the Elevate. Note that there are also rumours about a compact SUV from Honda making its way into our market in the future. We shall keep an eye out for more details on that.
