This has to be the world’s first 5-door Maruti Jimny with an all-red interior. Jimny is a prominent lightweight off-roader in our market. It offers a great alternative to all those who wish to perform hardcore off-roading excursions without having to shell out insane money on large off-roading SUVs or pickup trucks. That has been its appeal since its inception. However, the owners also started taking it out for the aftermarket modifications. This is a prime example of what these car shops are able to achieve.

These images and customizations come from poonamotorspvtltd on Instagram. The entire interior layout has been altered. The first thing one notices when he/she enters the cabin is the modified steering wheel. It has been borrowed from racing cars which is in the shape of handles. Apart from that, the striking red colour theme is hard to miss. Also, there are complimenting carbon fibre elements in the cabin including on the steering wheel, dashboard, around the driver’s instrument cluster, door panels, centre console and more. Even the Suzuki logo on the steering wheel has been replaced with a new logo. The upholstery also looks sporty in a completely red colour.

Author’s Note
Taking a vehicle for aftermarket modifications can be a tricky process. Most car customizations are illegal in India. Therefore, you are bound to get challaned if the traffic Police spot you. Moreover, you will also need to remove the accessories. On the other hand, the laws pertaining to interior modifications are not that strict. Hence, it makes sense to invest money in customizing the interior of the vehicle. However, you must ensure that there are no wire cuttings or tweaks with the OEM electronics. That could lead to short circuits. We don’t recommend going to aftermarket car shops at all.
