Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has successfully expanded its Ultra-High Speed Public EV Charging Network across key locations in the country. The carmaker now offers a network of as many as 11 Ultra-Fast charging stations, each with 3 Charging points – comprising one unit each of DC 150 kW, DC 60 kW and DC 30 kW capacity. This infrastructure expansion is in line with the carmaker’s plan of spearheading the electric vehicle adoption in India.

Hyundai’s Ultra-Fast EV Charging Stations Available in 6 Major Cities and on 5 Major Highways
The carmaker’s public charging network is now available across six major cities – Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore. It’s also available on 5 major highways – Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Jaipur, Hyderabad-Vijayawada, Mumbai-Surat and Mumbai-Nashik. Almost all these chargers are operational 24×7. Moreover, they’re available for all Hyundai and non-Hyundai cars. To further enhance the customer experience, these facilities are manned by dedicated manpower and even offer many amenities like coffee shops and restaurants. All these Ultra-Fast DC chargers will facilitate quick charging. For instance, owners of the Hyundai Ioniq5 will be able to charge the vehicles from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes!
Also, the charging facility can be booked for just INR 18 per unit for 30 kW Charger, INR 21 per unit for 60 kW Charger and INR 24 per unit for 150 kW Charger. Hyundai users can locate these EV charging stations on the myHyundai app. The same app can be even used for navigating to these chargers, pre-booking them, digital payment and charging status monitoring. In addition to these Ultra-Fast chargers, over 2900+ charging points are mapped in the “EV Charge” section available in myHyundai app. Another highlight here is that this app is available for use even to non-Hyundai EV users. Hyundai India plans to expand its Ultra-Fast charging stations to over 10 new locations this year. Additionally, it will install 100 Charging stations by 2027.
