Tata Dealer Sells a Defective Used Safari Car?
This information arrives from laxminarayana sabbani on YouTube. The video highlights the chain of events which leads the owner to believe that the dealership sold him a defective second-hand Safari. It mentions that this is the Accomplished + DK (AT) trim of the Safari facelift. It costs approximately Rs 34 lakh, on-road. The owner claims that this was a defective car with major wiring issues since day one. He alleges that the mood lights were not working since the beginning and smoke was emerging from the roof. After getting it checked, the service center staff found the reason to be a short circuit of internal wires. Allegedly, though, the dealer was trying to downplay the entire situation and get the owner to take the delivery.

After digging a bit deeper, the owner says he found out that the job card of the car shows that the vehicle had been brought to the service centre over a week before the delivery date, i.e., 21st January 2024 and the delivery took place on 31st January 2024. The job card also mentions that it was being fixed for the same issues. In fact, the owner also attaches the details of the bill, which clearly mentions the issues the car was being fixed for. In this bill, the Vehicle Reg. No. and Telephone No. belonged to someone else. The final part of the video showcases the SUV being treated for the aforementioned issues.
