Tata Motors released a great lineup of cars in 2023. It is set to continue its solid streak with four new models next year.
This year, Tata Motors released a new fantastic lineup of cars. This included updated versions of Tata Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier and Safari. The company also launched CNG versions of Tata Altroz and Tata Punch. Additionally, Tata Motors had an impressive showcase of concept models (Tata Sierra EV, Curvv, Harrier EV and Avinya) at the Auto Expo 2023. As per recent reports, the brand is gearing up for 2024 with four all-new models. Let’s take a closer look.

Tata Altroz Facelift

Tata Motors is finally updating the Altroz model. It is tipped to get a comprehensive facelift on the inside and out. This includes a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a full-TFT instrument console. However, the Tata Altroz facelift is expected to retain its petrol and diesel engine options. The premium hatchback was launched in 2019. The company has launched several variants since then. The updated model is expected to be launched in March 2024. It is likely to be priced under Rs 10 lakh. The Tata Altroz facelift will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20.

Tata Curvv

The upcoming SUV will be based on based on the Curvv concept. It will be powered by a 1.2-litre 125 PS turbocharged petrol engine. Additionally, the Tata Curvv will be available in a 1.5-litre diesel engine (same as Nexon) and all-electric powertrain (same as Nexon EV long range) options. The mid-size SUV coupe will also borrow transmission options on offer from Tata Nexon. In terms of price, the Tata Curvv will cost around Rs 10.50 lakh. It is expected to go on sale by April 2024. The new SUV will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Skoda Kushaq.

Tata Harrier EV

The midsize electric car was originally showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. It is expected to be launched in June 2024 with a price tag of Rs 22.00 – 25.00 Lakh. The Tata Harrier EV will be based on the recently launched diesel-powered Harrier in terms of design and equipment list. However, it will be powered by a 60kWh battery pack. The Tata Harrier EV will use a dual-motor setup. It will compete with the likes of BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e8.

The Tata Punch EV test units have been spotted several times now. This means that the new car will be launched sooner rather than later (likely first half of 2024). The Citroen eC3-rival will likely be priced in the range of Rs 12-15 lakh. Unlike the petrol-powered version, the Tata Punch EV will feature blue inserts and a closed grille. Additional features will include LED headlamps, a sunroof, all-wheel disc brakes, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a full-TFT instrument console, and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
