Since independence, the Indian agricultural sector has grown by leaps and bounds. While farmers still face several challenges, certain sections have also managed to be very successful with the help of modern farming methods and technology. A recent video shows one such farmer who is using her Porsche Boxster to carry farm produce. However, it seems like a staged video for the Instagram. Let’s take a closer look.
Porsche 718 Boxter Used Like None Other!
Nikki Dahiya (@ndahiya2021) is a farmer from Haryana. She uses Instagram to showcase her lifestyle and has gathered a big fan following for the same. As you can see in the above video, she uses her Porsche 718 Boxster to carry farm produce. The video shows her getting out of the stylish sportscar and saying a couple of lines in Haryanvi. Her message translates to ‘wait for success and keep doing hard work to reach your goals’. The sportscar owner also added that it is too low compared to Mahindra Scorpio.
Usually, farmers use a tractor or specialised pickup truck to carry their produce. Naturally, the use of an expensive vehicle like Porche has gathered a lot of attention. The strange factor in the video is the fact that the Porsche 718 Boxster has a smaller boot than regular cars much less a trolly. It is probably the least practical car in the market. The popular sports car is meant for fast driving and enjoying the power. While Porsche claims that the 718 series cars are designed for everyday use, carrying produce is quite a stretch.
