Bharat Adivasi Party’s only MLA from MP, Kamleshwar Dodiyar, couldn’t find a car to travel to Bhopal for the swearing-in ceremony. Undeterred, he rode his brother-in-law’s Hero Splendor to Bhopal after pasting an MLA sticker on it. He even broadcasted his 330-km journey live on social media.

Newly-Elected MLA Riders Hero Splendor to Assembly
Despite efforts to secure a car for his visit to the state capital as an MLA, Dodiyar found himself without one. So, he borrowed a Hero Splendor put an “MLA” sticker on it. Braving chilly weather, he rode for 330-km to Bhopal. On reaching Bhopal, he sought assistance through social media, tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Ratlam police. Expressing concern for his safety, he requested security for a trouble-free journey back home.
At Bhopal, Dodiyar, hailing from a humble background, stayed at the MLA Rest House as a guest. His social media posts highlight his financial constraints.He even mentions how he fought the election by borrowing funds from relatives.

MLA Broadcasts His Journey Live on Social Media
Dodiyar made sure to let the world know about his plight by broadcasting the ride to Bhopal live on Facebook. The broadcast shows the essence of his journey, portraying determination in the face of adversity. His journey to the state assembly reflects the triumph of the underdog. Hailing from a family of laborers, he contested and won against the odds by defeating the sitting Congress MLA Harsh Vijay Gehlot by 4,618 votes.
