The brochure of the upcoming 2024 Kia Sonet facelift has been leaked online, revealing some key insights. We have seen the test mule on multiple occasions. It will compete with industry leaders such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Brezza. To distinguish itself from the competition, the Korean powerhouse will offer fresh design and incorporate cutting-edge technology, convenience features, and connectivity options. Additionally, the Sonet will even come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to bolster its active safety capabilities. The compact SV will be unveiled on December 14, 2023.

Top 5 Additions of 2024 Kia Sonet Facelift
- Ventilated Seats – The Sonet owners will now get the convenience of ventilated front seats. It is a boon in most parts of the country where temperatures get extremely high during summers.
- Front Parking Sensors – Yet another addition that the owners would really appreciate is the front parking sensors. These could be especially handy during parking in tight spaces.

Regarding the specifications, the upcoming Sonet will maintain its current configuration without any alterations. It will continue to offer the same engine choices, which include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. These engines deliver power and torque outputs of 83 PS / 115 Nm, 120 PS / 172 Nm, and 115 PS / 250 Nm, respectively. The transmission options available encompass a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), automatic transmission (AT), and a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), providing a diverse range to cater to individual preferences. Specifics regarding pricing will only be available during the official launch.

Boot Space and Exterior Colour
As per the leaked brochure, the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift will come with a new colour – Pewter Olive. This is the same new colour shade which the latest Seltos also offers. Apart from that, there will be Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue and Clear White options. The new Sonet also offers 2 dual-tone colours – Intense Red / Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl / Aurora Black Pearl. The Matte Graphite paint shade will be exclusively offered with the X-Line trim. However, the boot space is down from 392 litres to 385 litres.
