It looks like the Hyundai Creta facelift will finally launch next month. It’s noteworthy that test mules of the upcoming model have already been seen on multiple occasions. That said, the aesthetics of the SUV have been under a shroud of secrecy due to the heavy camouflage. Still, though, the new model could look a tad like the Exter with similar lighting arrangements and 2024 Palisade-like grille. This will ensure the new model looks fresh and bold when it arrives here. It will even mark a departure from the styling of the international version.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift to Get 2024 Palisade-Inspired Soft Parts
The upcoming Creta facelift might remind us of the Exter. This will be due to the latter taking inspiration from the latest Palisade. Hence, expect a similar multi-tier lighting arrangement. The DRLs will be found at the hood-level and will boast H-motif signature. Connecting the DRLs will be an LED light bar, like the one on the Verna. Even the grille will be new and in line with the carmaker’s latest styling language for SUVs. The side profile will feature new alloys. The rear-end could get a new hatch-gate and connected LED taillamps. The current 1.5-litre NA Petrol and Turbo-Diesel mills will be carried over. Additionally, the SUV will receive the 1.5 T-GDI petrol engine from the Verna. This will make the Creta the most powerful in its class alongside the Kia Seltos.
Safer Than Before
Inside, the Hyundai Creta facelift will feature many updates. The dashboard could see some revisions, while the instrumentation could be new. More importantly, there will be many new features on offer. Among the highlights of the new equipment list will be Level 2 ADAS. This should boost the safety quotient. Additionally, the 6 airbags, ABS, EBD ESP and Traction Control will be carried over. In addition to introducing new safety elements, the upcoming 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift could have a stronger body shell. This reinforcement aims to enhance the car’s crash safety. This strategic move draws parallels with Kia’s approach, notably observed in the latest Seltos, which similarly boasts a reinforced body structure.

EV Version in the Offing
An electric version of the new Hyundai Creta could follow the arrival of the facelift. The Creta EV will become the carmaker’s most affordable EV yet. It will take on the likes of Tata Nexon EV Max, Mahindra XUV400 and MG ZS EV. While Hyundai made its foray into the Indian EV market with the Kona Electric, the landscape has since become intensely competitive. Our sources reveal that the upcoming electric version will borrow the powertrain from the Kona. This will result in the availability of a 39.2 kWh Lithium-ion polymer battery that powers a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). This configuration delivers a commendable 136 PS and 395 Nm of power and torque. Aa full charge will be achievable from 0 to 100% in approximately 6 hours and 10 minutes using an AC home charger. Additionally, a 50 kW DC fast charger can offer an 80% charge in just 57 minutes. The driving range is likely to be approx. 450 km.
