The one thing that remains constant is the Mahindra Scorpio. Initially, she used to have the Scorpio Getaway. She got a tent fitted on the cargo compartment for overnight camping. She recalls a concerning situation once when she had to sleep in the car. That is when the idea of mounting a tent on top of the vehicle was first introduced. This was before it was officially called Overlanding.

It is great to see her still carrying the passion for such trips. As a matter of fact, she even takes her son on these expeditions. One video clip showcases them setting up the tent in what looks like a jungle. This was her early days. Thereafter, she understood the application of having a tent on the back of the car. She has had this configuration ever since. Even in her current Scorpio N, she has an Overlanding tent on the roof. She says that it is great because she doesn’t have to look for even and dry surfaces to pitch the tent. She could simply open the tent anywhere she wants. That offers her, as well as any travelling enthusiast, great freedom to follow their passion of exploration.
