Volkswagen launched the Sound Edition models of the Taigun and Virtus. As part of VW Group’s India 2.0 strategy, these two vehicles marked the beginning of a new era for the German auto giant. Notably, the MQB A0 IN platform, which underlies these vehicles, also serves as the foundation for Skoda cars. This platform is highly localized, allowing the carmaker to lower both initial and maintenance costs. This addresses a significant concern for many potential buyers of Skoda or VW cars in our country. Such special edition models help to popularize cars. Here are the details.
