He confirms that the SUV has an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.86 lakh on which Rs 81,000 are the RTO charges. However, the man who was delivering this SUV to the owner in Bhiwani, Haryana, ended up duping the man of around Rs 1 lakh. He took Rs 50,000 as a premium, Rs 25,000 as transport charges, Rs 17,000 for extended warranty and some Rs 6,000 for the accessories. All this was forced upon the owner. This amounts to a whopping Rs 1 lakh.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder offers two petrol hybrid powertrains – a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder mild hybrid with an AWD option, and a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder strong hybrid equipped with an AC synchronous electric motor and a Lithium-ion battery pack. The former delivers 103 hp and 136 Nm of peak power and torque, while the latter boasts 116 hp and 141 Nm of peak power and torque. The mild hybrid provides choices of a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT, while the strong hybrid exclusively features the e-CVT automatic transmission. In terms of mileage, the strong hybrid version achieves an impressive 27.97 km/l (ARAI). The Maruti Grand Vitara is priced between Rs 10.86 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
