This project comes from ND – Woodworking Art of YouTube. It brings various projects of woodwork. On this occasion, the man decides to take on the arduous task of creating an almost life-sized Tesla Cybertruck. The boxy silhouette of the electric pickup truck lends itself well to being constructed from wood. The YouTuber demonstrates the entire process in a 20-minute-long video. For the base and ‘chassis’, he used metallic elements. This is also true for steering column fitting and other mechanical bits. But for the entire exterior body and interior cabin, he uses wood. It is just a joy to watch him work.

What is most impressive is the sheer attention to detail. While there are so many distinct parts on the inside, he takes care to create just about everything. This includes things like a wooden floor to place the batteries, door panels, steering wheel, a black sheet for the roof and windows, wooden seats, centre console, dashboard, a touchscreen, wooden doors with X symbol (perhaps for Twitter), LED strip on the bonnet, wooden wheel covers for the tyres, a retractable wooden ramp at the rear from where he takes out the tricycle for his child and more. Finally, he takes it along for a ride on a road.

We must confess this is an impressive work of art. The fit and finish and knowledge the man has about his craft is simply commendable. The final product looks strikingly similar to the original Tesla Cybertruck. That is the reason why this YouTuber is so popular with over 2.63 million subscribers already. His passion for creating just about anything from wood is remarkable and comes through in each of his projects. We thoroughly enjoyed this wooden iteration of the electric pickup truck. Until the original one makes it to the streets, we appreciate this wooden variant.
