2024 Kia Sonet Facelift
We have come up with this rendition. You can see that the front fascia has been inspired by the recently launched Seltos. There is a prominent Tiger Nose grille with chrome bars which emerge out of the LED headlamps but don’t meet at the centre, a chrome frame around the grille, vertically stacked LED fog lamps, a rugged front bumper with chrome elements, a contoured bonnet and more. The ORVMs are painted black with LED turn indicators. Furthermore, there are roof rails and a black roof for that extra oomph. All in all, this digital illustration is a great attempt to showcase how the upcoming Sonet could look with the Seltos fascia.

In terms of specifications, the upcoming Sonet is set to undergo minimal changes. This means that the new Sonet will continue to offer the same engine options, including a 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, producing 83 PS / 115 Nm, 120 PS / 172 Nm, and 116 PS / 250 Nm of power and torque, respectively. It will also come with a variety of transmission choices, including 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, iMT, AT, and 7-speed DCT automatic, ensuring that it caters to the preferences of all potential buyers. What We Think
This compact SUV segment is growing exponentially. Buyers are mostly upgrading from entry-level cars like compact hatchbacks. They find a valuable increment in the interior space, features, engines and road presence when they buy SUVs from this category. More importantly, these are relatively affordable compared to the larger SUVs. Hence, they are already willing to pay this premium. All these factors have led to the massive success of the compact SUVs in the country.
