Adam Bidapa, the son of renowned fashion advisor Prasad Bidapa, has faced legal action for reckless driving and intimidating a fellow motorist in the vicinity of Rail Wheel Factory in Yelahanka New Town along Doddaballapur Main Road on Wednesday night. Responding to a complaint lodged by Rahul Unnikrishnan, who resides in an apartment complex situated at Ananthapura Gate on Doddaballapur Main Road in Yelahanka New Town, the police took Adam into custody and subsequently released him on station bail.

Drunk Bidapa’s Tata Nexon Almost Hits Another Vehicle
Following a complaint lodged by Rahul Unnikrishnan, who resides in an apartment complex at Ananthapura Gate on Doddaballapur Main Road in Yelahanka New Town, the police took Adam into custody. Subsequently, Adam was released on station bail. In addition to this, Adam was also charged with a drunk driving case as his alcometer test yielded a positive result. The test indicated a blood alcohol level of 127mg/100ml, well above the permissible limit of 30mg/100ml, as confirmed by a traffic police officer.
Unnikrishnan, a student, informed the police that he was on his way home from Hebbal in his car. As he approached Yelahanka, he encountered Bidapa, who was driving his Tata Nexon recklessly. The accused continuously honked, verbally abused him, and even issued threats. According to Unnikrishnan, Bidapa’s car came perilously close to colliding with his vehicle, as reported by the police officer.

Case Registered Against Bidapa
Bidapa proceeded to trail Unnikrishnan and halted his vehicle in the vicinity of the factory. In response, Unnikrishnan dialed the police control room (112) at approximately 11 pm. Law enforcement authorities swiftly arrived at the scene and inquired why Bidapa had pursued and intercepted Unnikrishnan’s vehicle. An altercation ensued between Bidapa and the officers, during which Bidapa denied any such pursuit. According to Unnikrishnan’s official complaint, Bidapa menaced him, asserting connections with influential individuals. Consequently, a case has been registered against Bidapa under various IPC sections. These include 279 (related to reckless driving on public roads), 341 (pertaining to wrongful restraint), 504 (addressing intentional insult with the intent to incite a breach of peace), and 506 (pertaining to criminal intimidation). The investigation is currently ongoing.
