Apart from the big cities and expressways, people don’t always follow traffic rules. That leads to precarious scenarios some of which are hard to even visualise. Here is one such case.

Hyundai Santro Dragged by Truck
This video comes from Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of cars in unfortunate scenarios, as well as road safety. This latest case has emerged from Udupi near Mangalore, Karnataka. As per the information in the video, a Santro hit the rear section of the truck. The exact reason for the collision is unclear. However, the truck driver thought that if he got out, people would start beating him. As a result, he continued driving on. However, the Santro got stuck beneath the truck at the rear.

Shockingly, the truck kept on dragging the car for about 2 km. The people who were driving in the adjacent lane have recorded the entire incident. They are even seen and heard shouting at the truck driver to stop. But the latter won’t listen. Finally, the truck comes to a halt after some time. The damage to the front fascia of the Santro is quite prominent. There were three people travelling inside the Santro. Thankfully, none of them was injured. This is certainly as bizarre a case as any.

We are shocked to see the visuals. We can only imagine how scary the occupants would have been for the duration when they were under the truck. Such accidents are quite frequent on our roads. We must pledge to be responsible drivers and try to ensure that everyone around us follows the traffic rules. That is the only way to safeguard our roads. If you find anyone breaking the rules, you must report them to the authorities. That will ensure proper action against them and will deter others from doing so.
