Aston Martin has introduced its latest ‘Super Tourer,’ the DB12, in India with a price tag of Rs 4.59 crore (ex-showroom). This model serves as both the successor to the DB11 and the beginning of a new chapter for the brand, featuring a contemporary design, advanced performance features, and a tech-rich cockpit. In India, the DB12 takes on the likes of the Ferrari Roma and McLaren GT.

Aston Martin DB12 Super Tourer has a potent 4-liter twin-turbo V8 motor that comes from Mercedes-AMG family. It delivers an impressive 671bhp and 800Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this engine enables the DB12 to achieve a top speed of 325 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.5 seconds, as per the manufacturer’s specifications.

Exterior & Interior
In comparison to its predecessor, the Aston Martin DB12 boasts several noteworthy exterior updates. At the front, it features a bigger grille, redesigned lighting elements, and an updated splitter. Aston Martin has also extended both the front and rear tracks, resulting in a more muscular and imposing appearance. A subtly modified brand logo, set to feature on all upcoming Aston Martin models, makes its debut with the DB12. The distinctive vents behind the front wheels have been retained, and while there are some subtle aesthetic changes at the rear, they are not extensive. The DB12 rides on 21-inch wheels as standard. The exotic set of wheels features 400-millimeter front discs and 360-millimeter rear discs.

Inside, the coupe features a huge center console that is driver-oriented. The newly introduced infotainment system boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen, offering compatibility with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In fact, Aston Martin proudly presents this as their first-ever in-house developed infotainment system. This marks an important departure from from Mercedes Benz-sourced unit available until now. The advanced system offers a new navigation system with internet connectivity and 3D mapping, complemented by a mobile app that facilitates over-the-air updates, enhancing user experience.
