Honda Elevate Ownership Review
This video comes from Daksh Agnihotri on YouTube. The vlogger interacts with the owner of the Elevate. The latter mentions that he is mighty happy with his SUV. However, he just had it for around 15 days. But he has driven the City sedan in the past. Since the Elevate shares a lot of components and engines with the City, he loves it too. That is the same reason why he thinks that Elevate will score highly on the safety tests. Apart from that, he likes the way the Elevate looks. He confirms that the SUV offers all the features that a regular customer would need.

He even went to check out the new Kia Seltos and the Skoda Kushaq. Both these SUVs are direct rivals to the Elevate. He acknowledges that the Seltos has a lot of modern-day tech, convenience and comfort features to pamper the occupants. However, he is not sure about the safety rating and build quality of the SUV. On the other hand, he was concerned about the high maintenance costs of the Kushaq. That is why he didn’t opt for it. Finally, he loves the engine and cabin of the Elevate and considers the brand to be reliable and low maintenance. All these reasons combined, he opted for the Elevate.

Elevate offers a sole engine choice, featuring the 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine, which is the one found in the City model too. This engine provides a familiar performance, delivering 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak power and torque. You have the option to select between a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox. It’s worth noting that there’s no robust hybrid engine available, unlike the City sedan. When equipped with the manual transmission, it boasts an impressive claimed fuel efficiency of 15.31 km/l, while the automatic version performs even better at 16.92 km/l. Prices for the Elevate range from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16 lakh, ex-showroom.
