YouTubers often bring the viewers the acceleration and top speed tests of popular motorcycles.
Here is the latest top speed and acceleration test of the Hero Karizma XMR and the 2023 KTM RC200. Both these motorcycles are quite prominent. People prefer these over their rivals to squeeze more performance from relatively smaller engines. While other bikes in this segment strive to achieve practicality, affordability and mileage, these two motorcycles are geared more toward people seeking the thrill of riding. Let us take a look at how well these two perform on a straight stretch of road.

Hero Karizma vs KTM RC200 Acceleration Test
This video comes from KSC Vlogs on YouTube. The YouTuber has the two bikes. But he uploads the videos of both these bikes separately. In fact, he rides both these bikes himself and creates the footage in a side-by-side layout. In the first part of the video, he takes the KTM RC200. He accelerates it from the get-go and achieves a healthy time of 4.17 secs and 10.31 secs to reach 60 km/h and 100 km/h, respectively from a standstill. Similarly, he puts the footage of him riding the Hero Karizma XMR. On this occasion, he is able to reach these speeds in an even better 4.06 secs and 10.32 secs, respectively. The Hero Karizma is definitely the faster of the two.

Top Speed Test
Thereafter, the YouTuber posts the footage of the two bikes where the top speeds are tested. Interestingly, it looks like the motorcycles are being ridden at the same time. But it is just the positioning of the two separate recordings by the YouTuber. The RC200 was able to hit the top speed of 136 km/h after which its limiter prevented it from going any further. It was able to reach this speed in 26.47 secs while the Karizma XMR was able to do it in just 26.08 secs. On the other hand, the top speed of Karizma XMR was a whopping 149 km/h. It achieved this in 41.37 secs. Hence, the performance of these bikes becomes evident in this video.

Recently, YouTubers have embraced a trendy practice of employing drag races as a means to gauge and contrast the performance of various motorcycles. However, it’s essential to acknowledge that relying solely on drag races for these assessments may not be the most prudent choice. The reason for concern lies in the fact that drag races can potentially cause lasting harm to motorcycles, as most bikes are not engineered for continuous high-speed, straight-line racing. Consequently, we strongly discourage the attempt to conduct drag races with your own motorcycles.
