The debut Grand Prix race of the MotoGP Bharat successfully concluded yesterday with Marco Bezzecchi emerging as the winner.
Anand Mahindra congratulates Marco Bezzecchi on winning the inaugural MotoGP Bharat Grand Prix. The event took place on the Buddh International Circuit (BIC). It was constructed back in 2011 with a seating capacity of 1,10,000. The biggest racing event of Moto Racing in the world came to India for the very first time. Needless to say, the MotoGP fans in the country were ecstatic. There were famous personalities participating in this event including the legendary Spanish racer Marc Marquez. Anand Mahindra Congratulates Marco Bezzecchi

Marco Bezzecchi is an Italian racer. Incidentally, he competed full-time in the 2017 Moto3 World Championship riding for Mahindra CIP. That is where the Mahindra connection was established. MotoGP Bharat Standings
The first place was clinched by Marco Bezzecchi for the Mooney VR46 Racing Team (Ducati). He completed the race in 36 mins, 59 secs and 15 microseconds (36.59.15). Behind him was Spain’s Jorge Martin of Prima Pramac Racing taking 8.649 seconds more and France’s Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP taking 8.855 seconds more. This victory puts him in 3rd place in the championship standings behind the leaders Pecco Bagnaia (1st) and Jorge Martin (2nd).
