At last, the new Nexon has arrived, showcasing numerous exterior styling enhancements and interior upgrades, among other notable improvements. Let us take a look at the details of this Pure S variant. Note that S symbolises that this is a trim with an electric sunroof. The available variants include Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless, with sub-variants offering optional features and a sunroof.

Tata Nexon Pure S Variant

At the front, there are bi-LED headlamps, LED DRLs and turn indicators, a prominent grille with black material, and an upright bonnet. On the sides, there are 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, black ORVMs with turn indicators, black door handles, black wheel arches and side body cladding, black side pillars, roof rails, LED taillamps, sporty rear bumper, shark fin antenna, roof-mounted spoiler, etc. In essence, there are all the basic elements some of which you would find on the top trim as well.

Interior and Features
The Pure S variant is quite feature-rich too. This includes things like a 7-inch infotainment display, a part-digital instrument cluster, fabric upholstery, a 4-speaker JBL audio system, illuminated Tata logo on the two-spoke steering wheel, touch-sensitive HVAC controls, flat-bottom steering wheel with tilt settings, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rotary dials to control drive modes, rear AC vents electric sunroof, LED cabin light, vanity mirrors, manual IRVM and more. Therefore, you would find all the basic amenities in this trim.

Specs
The new Nexon retains the same powertrain options as its predecessor, offering a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The turbo petrol engine delivers 120 hp and 170 Nm, while the diesel engine generates 115 hp and 260 Nm of maximum power and torque. Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AMT. However, the petrol variant now offers even more choice with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic gearbox, catering to a broader audience. For manual control enthusiasts, paddle shifters are also available. The prices range from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh, ex-showroom.
