Tata Motors, Mahindra and Citroen are expected to launch Tata Safari Facelift, Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus, and 7-Seater Citroen C3 Aircross, respectively. Let’s take a closer look.

Tata Safari Facelift
The upcoming model is expected to feature a redesigned front fascia, inspired by the Harrier EV concept. It is likely to get a number of updates inside the cabin as well. The Tata Safari Facelift is likely to be powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that offers 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The midsize SUV is expected to be launched before the end of this year. Tata Motors also plans to launch an updated Tata Nexon and Tata Harrier this year.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus
The upcoming SUV is expected to be launched in India later this month. It will be available in both seven- and nine-seater configurations. The testing units of the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus have already been spotted. It looks like a facelifted version of the TUV300 Plus. The rear-wheel drive SUV will be underpinned by a ladder frame. It is expected to be powered by a 2.2L mHawk diesel engine, paired with a manual transmission. The 7-seater SUV will be positioned below the Scorpio Classic in the Mahindra & Mahindra’s lineup.

Mahindra Thar 5-door
The Mahindra Thar, initially available only as a 3-door model, is now set to get a 5-door sibling. Mahindra is actively developing a 5-door version of the Thar, aiming to enhance its practicality and expand seating capacity to accommodate seven passengers. This upcoming 7-seater variant is expected to make waves in India’s automotive landscape in 2023. To improve the vehicle’s handling and ride comfort, Mahindra is equipping the new Thar with its advanced pentalink suspension system, featuring a Watt’s Linkage setup at the rear. Under the hood, customers will have a choice between two potent engines: a 150 PS 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 130 PS 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Of course, the 4×4 capability will be retained, complemented by a low-ratio transfer case for off-road enthusiasts.
