The Indian Automobile market is growing as rapidly as ever and major manufacturers including Indian and others are busy introducing their new models but there are still a few brands who have not been able to launch their very own cars, which are popular overseas.
On one hand Fiat is working all day long on its strategies for the new exclusive showrooms it is going to introduce in the coming months while on the other Renault is planning to enter with its own line-up existing in the overseas markets, in India in the year 2011.
Earlier the company had announced of making an independent foray into our market and recently reinforcing the above Mr. Marc Nassif, MD of Renault India said, “Since April this year, we have moved very fast in getting our product plans in place. We are ahead of plan on selecting and appointing dealers and are on track to meet the challenging targets that we have set for ourselves in India and to ensure that we live up to the brand promise that Renault will bring to its Indian customers.”
The finalization of different agencies to handle various departments like creative, media and PR has already been done and to start with the brand will enter with Renault Fluence sedan and Renault Koleos SUV. It also carries intentions of launching three more cars including a small car by 2013 mid.
