Tata has unveiled the Nexon EV facelift and the launch is slated for September 14. It will be called Nexon.ev. The Indian auto giant is in the process of updating its Nexon lineup. The ICE version has already been unveiled. Both these SUVs will be launched on the same day. Note that the outgoing Nexon siblings are almost identical in terms of exterior and interior. 5 Features of Tata Nexon EV Facelift
1. Largest-in-Segment Infotainment Screen
When you step inside the facelift Nexon EV, a ginormous 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display will greet you. It will have an all-new interface. The ICE version of Nexon has a 10.25-inch touchscreen display. A major complaint of the existing users was the small and low-res screen. Clearly, Tata listens to the feedback from the customers.

2. Latest Tech and Safety Features
Then there is a slew of the latest tech and convenience features on the new Nexon EV. This includes things like touch-based HVAC controls with premium toggle switches. There is other equipment like a 360-degree camera, connected car tech, wireless charging, OTA updates, type-C ports, new Arcade.ev app suite to stream OTT platforms and more. This new Nexon EV will be extremely feature-rich.

3. Refreshed Exterior
The most noticeable change on the Nexon EV facelift will be on the outside. At the front, there is a sleek LED DRL strip that runs across the width of the compact electric SUV. It neatly merges into the LED DLRs on either side lending a futuristic look. The exterior is inspired by the CURVV concept. There is prominent EV badging on the body panel to set it apart from the regular Nexon. At the rear, the connected LED taillamp unit looks modern and stylish.

4. Increased Range
Another key aspect of the Nexon EV facelift is the range. With EVs, the range plays a crucial role. While the battery sizes still remain 30 kWh and 40.5 kWh, the actual range has gone up. The Nexon EV facelift will now come with two new nomenclatures – Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR). You would be able to squeeze 325 km and 465 km, as per ARAI, from these battery packs respectively. This is a bump of around 12 km in comparison to the outgoing model.

5. V2V and V2L
The new Nexon EV facelift will come with V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capabilities. This allows for bidirectional charging which means that you would also be able to use the battery of the EV to charge external electronic appliances.
