At the front, the SUV has the typical Toyota design language with a sleek LED headlamp cluster with integrated LED DRLs, a broad grille in the centre with a 2D logo, a sporty bumper, angular fog lamps on the extreme edges of the bumper and an upright stance. On the sides, there are sporty black 19-inch alloy wheels, rugged black square wheel arches, black side skirtings, and a dual-tone exterior with a black roof and side pillars. At the rear, there are split-LED taillamps connected by a chrome strip, black bumper, dual exhaust, shark fin antenna and roof-mounted spoiler.

The interior layout is quite decent. A large touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage. The RAV4 hybrid comes with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol hybrid engine which generates 306 hp and 227 Nm of peak power and torque with additional power and torque from the electric motor. The transmission duties are carried out by a CVT automatic gearbox. The mileage that one could expect from this SUV in ideal conditions is a whopping 107 km/l. There are 8 airbags, ADAS active safety features, ABS with EBD, Traction control and more. In essence, the Toyota RAV4 hybrid is a feature-rich car with incredible mileage figures, tons of practicality and great performance. The price in the Indonesian market is equivalent to Rs 62 lakh INR. Toyota has no plans of bringing it to India anytime soon.
