A digital automobile artist designs an Adventure concept of the new Hero Karizma XMR. While merely a figment of artist’s imagination, visually, the concept looks like a proper KTM 250 Adventure vial. The Karizma XMR is the newest motorcycle in our market which is in the news. Karizma is a moniker which was extremely popular during the 2000s. Its striking bold looks and performance captivated a whole bunch of bike enthusiasts. What was particularly impressive is the fact that it didn’t use to cost some exorbitant amount. As a result, it enjoyed massive success back in the day. However, it was discontinued in our market in subsequent years. Now, Hero has re-introduced a modern avatar of the Karizma with traditional idiosyncrasies. Here are the details.

Hero Karizma XMR Adventure Concept
This concept comes from abin_designs_511 and bikerzz_of_india on Instagram. The overall silhouette resembles the regular Karizma. But there are a few subtle changes to accentuate its sportiness. At the front, there are LED DRLs, an LED headlamp, a semi-fairing with XMR body graphics, an adjustable windshield, an aggressive front fascia, covers for the handlebars, a sculpted fuel tank, a split-seat configuration, black side body panels, a stubby dual-tone exhaust pipe, sporty cowl and chunky alloy wheels with large disc brakes. All these elements represent an adventure version of the bike similar to the KTM 250 Adventure.

Specs
The 2023 Hero Karizma XMR 210 comes with a sturdy 210-cc liquid-cooled 4V DOHC engine that impressively churns out a peak power of 25.5 PS at 9,250 RPM, paired with a maximum torque of 20.4 Nm at 7,250 RPM. Managing the transmission duties is a 6-speed gearbox, featuring a slip-and-assist clutch mechanism for seamless operation. Safety gets a boost with the inclusion of dual-channel ABS, enhancing braking control. The bike’s construction boasts a robust Trellis frame from high-tensile steel for durability. Braking performance is strong with a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear.

The front suspension comes with a 37 mm telescopic fork featuring an anti-friction bush, while the rear boasts a 6-step pre-load adjustable gas-charged monoshock system, contributing to a comfortable ride across various terrains. To further enhance its performance, the front tyre has a 100-section width, while the rear tyre is broader at 140-section. The bike’s dimensions include a wheelbase measuring 1,351 mm, a seat height of 810 mm, and a ground clearance of 160 mm. Despite its solid build, it maintains a weight of 163.5 kg and accommodates an 11-litre fuel tank capacity. The introductory price is RS 1.73 lakh, ex-showroom.
